Issue/Introduction

Description:

"The DSM Reporter is not connected to a database and a DSM domain".

The following messages were retrieved from a non-localized, detailed trace log and may be helpful in further diagnosing the problem:
Domain Connect: Error opening domain database (%s/%s/%s) Db->Connect returned %li Connect to Database %s with username %s failed cAmo: Domain->Connect failed

Solution:

Most of the times this error appears if the SQL client tool is not installed.

Please make sure that the MS SQL Client tool is installed on the desktop from where the user is trying to make the connection to the DSM reporter.
