When the link to login to Process Automation manager (IT PAM) client is clicked, the following java pop up message is displayed:

"Authentication Required Enter login details to access <default> on <IP>",

It then it requires that the for the username, password, and domain be provided. Each time I cancel, I receive the message: "Application Unable to launch the application" on the screen.


A possible solution to this problem is to follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Windows Control Panel and select Java (or Programs/Java for Windows 7 or 2008).

  2. Go to the General tab and in the Network Settings, select the option 'Direct Connection'. See below:
