Issue/Introduction

Description:

When a user clicks the Support Automation Tab it gives an error: 'Handling of SDM request failed - error: RESOLVING_USER_TYPE'.

Solution:

The user has insufficient rights to perform that task.

Configure a user with appropriate Support Automation Access Types, such as 'Support Automation Administrator' or 'Support Automation Analyst.'

Login to Service Desk Manager with that user.
