Issue/Introduction

Requirements for z/Linux Support in MICS.

 

Resolution

MICS support for z/Linux is through reporting on utilization of the z/Linux VM guest in the CA MICS Analyzer Option for VM/CMS. If Velocity Software data is available, this analyzer will also process the Velocity data and store it in the LNX information area of this component. The Velocity data provides more details on what is occurring within the z/Linux guest because it reports statistics at the process level.

There is no z/Linux release level support required.
