Issue/Introduction

Description:

Installed CCS v14.0 for first time on new system. Executing CAS9 for the first time to install a product LMP key. The CAS9 job abends immediately with the following:

Solution:

Verify whether CAW0LINK was mistakingly placed in LPALSTxx. Only CAW0LPA should be added to LPALSTxx. Any improperly defined library to LPALST must be removed and an IPL be performed.

Beginning with the installation of CA Common Services v14.0 the following configuration requirements must be met...

  • yourHLQ.CAW0LOAD and CAW0LINK must be apf-authorized

  • yourHLQ.CAW0LINK must be placed in the system LINKLIST. (optionally CAW0LOAD can be linklisted)

  • yourHLQ.CAW0LPA must be added to SYS1.PARMLIB member LPALSTxx
