Clarity: Business Objects Crystal Reports Export Refused because you do not have right 'Right to Download'

One of our users is having problems running reports. An error message appears when she exports her reports in Clarity.

Error Message Reads:

Your request was refused because you do not have right 'Right to Download' on report....


This is affecting the Business Objects, Crystal Reports.

  1. In the Central Management Console (CMC), navigate to the folder or report object you wish to modify and click the 'Rights' tab.

  2. From the drop-down list next to the user account or group account to whom you want to assign rights, select 'Advanced'.

  3. In the list of advanced rights, activate the 'Explicitly Granted' column next to the 'Download files associated with the report' right.

  4. Click 'OK' or 'Apply'.

The Crystal Enterprise user account can now schedule a report to any destination that is configured.
