Issue/Introduction

JCLCheck step is validating JCL for a remote system and terminates with RC=28. 

CACP04900E Target Server CAGTS10 returned with error (RC 04160308) error message is shown in the JOB joblog.

In the remote CAGTS task, in file CPERROR, message CACP02084D CAGSCPPR - TS CAGTS10 returned with RC: 04160308 is found.

This indicates:
04: An error occurred on the target system
16: A problem was detected in an input file
03: The error occurred when getting list of members
08: Processing ends with an error

Additional error messages can be found in the remote CAGTS JOB log:

IEW4000I FETCH FOR MODULE CAZ2CJCL FROM DDNAME STEPLIB FAILED BECAUSE INSUFFICIENT STORAGE WAS AVAILABLE.

Resolution

• Add REGION=4046K to the remote CAGTS job step, and recycle the started task.
• Rerun the JCLCheck ChekPlex job.   If the job completes normally, review REPORT 6 for any errors that may have been found in the JCL being checked.
