Issue/Introduction

Description:

Trying to access an existing CSI in MSM to install a product but this CSI is not listed under the SMP/E Environment tab even though it was successfully migrated into MSM. Also the CSI is listed under SMP/E Environment tab for other MSM users.

This is based on security. MSM only shows you CSIs that are accessible to your USERID in z/OS.

Solution:

Try to access the CSI from the SMP/E selection in ISPF from TSO, whatever security violation you receive from your SAF is the reason why the CSI is not listed in your MSM session from the SMP/E Environment tab. For example, for Top Secret, TSS7221E Dataset Not Accessible. Have your Security Administrator grant you access to the CSI.
