Issue/Introduction

Description:

Scheduler logs:
"CAUAJM_E_10541 Permission ERROR: Could not SET user ID =239 on Host: sapmep"

Agent Log;
CAUAJM_I_20080 Agent Sending Message: Type=7,005, Return Value=1 Description=<Could not SET user ID =239 on Host: sapmep>

If the Agent services are started as a Non-root user it could report "Could not set User ID" errors because the Agent is trying to SUID to the Job owner.

Solution:

  1. Either STOP Agent service and start back as root user

    OR

  2. Setup a Non-root user with SUDO command which requires additional configuration; as documented under PIB

    • Apply B5KL004 to resolve problem on Unix.

    • Apply B5KL005 to resolve problem on Linux.
