Clarity: Portfolio Scorecard Performance Issue

The portlets (Investments, Gannt, Balance, Financial) on the portfolio scorecard page are performing very poorly.

It takes 3+ mins to load results on each of these portlets. The following is the timing observed for one of the users

Investments Portlet - 3 mins 45 secs - 110 Records

Balance Portlet - 3 mins 40 secs - No Results

Gantt Portlet - 3 mins 31 secs - 110 Records

Financial Portlet - 3 mins 25 secs - 110 Records

The whole Scorecard page times out sometimes for the users

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Log into Clarity

  2. Home > Portfolios > Create or open an existing Portfolio

  3. Click on the Scorecard tab which has (Investments, Gannt, Balance, Financial) portlets

Expected Result: Results to be displayed in a few seconds.

Actual Result: The whole Scorecard page takes 3+ mins to display and sometimes timesout for the users.



The cause of the issue is related to the query and the configuration of the user's access rights. Granting the end-user access rights to view/edit all investments will help to improve the response of the page as a temporary workaround.
