Issue/Introduction

How to make a column change to the Sysview for Db2 for z/OS (IDB2) THRDACTV member without corrupting the default member and
prevent others from seeing the new THRDACTV screen.

Resolution

This can be done by:

1. Creating a new requests library
   
   
2. Copy the original THRDACTV IQL request to your to new library and modify as desired.
   
   
3. Add your new request library to your IDB2 User Profile Request datasets concatenation. Your new library should be placed first in the concatenation.
   
   
4. Enter the START command, followed by your IQL member name, EG: START THRDACT2. Your IQL should appear on your screen. Others will still see the regular THRDACTV IQL.
