Issue/Introduction

Description:

When you try to run smpolicysrv -stats on Linux you are getting "Unable to communicate with server for management" and stats are not generated in the smps.log.

Solution:

Please make sure that the user which was used to start the Policy Server is the user running the command smpolicysrv -stas.
smpolicysrv read files in the /tmp/snrrpni and those files may not have the right permission. The SiteMinder hidden file "("/tmp/snrrpni{{pip" " is owned by the user that started the Policy Server, so this is the user that should run the "-stats" command to succeed.
