Issue/Introduction

User is getting IDADSVCS01E - Insufficient level of authorization trying to catalog a Dataview in Ideal. The authorization was changed from Ideal user to ADMIN/PRINT/DVW/IDEAL AUTHORITY but still getting the error message IDADSVCS01E - insufficient level of authorization trying to catalog a Dataview.

Resolution

The Ideal user's old authorizations is still in temp storage and will remain in temp storage until you MARK the user to PROD. If you have more than one region, you must issue the MARK user to PROD in every region (even though the user is already MARKED to PROD). It's the MARK PROD command that causes the USER PSA (temp storage queue) to be deleted and then when the user gets back in to IDEAL, it is rebuilt with the new authorizations.
