Issue/Introduction

Why is the message PT733W ACMID "XXXXXXXX" is undefined for ssid (subsystem name) occurring when trying to enter products from the
Database Management for Db2 for z/OS main menu.

Resolution

The PT733W will occur when the SETUPxx member contains the parameter ACMCHECK WARN. Set ACMCHECK to OFF to avoid the warning.

Alternate Catalog Mapping Check (ACMCHECK)
Indicates the processing to occur if an alternate catalog is not available when Alternate Catalog Mapping (ACM) is set to ON. Options are Off, Warn, and Fail.

Note: If an alternate catalog is not available, but a DEFAULT ACM table exists, the DEFAULT table is accessed instead of the DB2 catalog.
