Issue/Introduction

Description:

IBM's next generation of mainframe hardware --- the zEnterprise EC12 (or z12, for short) --- was announced on August 28, with a general availability listed as September 19, 2012. Is there any support needed for these zNext processors?

Solution:

CA has thoroughly tested the CA Top Secret family of products (TSS base, TSS/CICS, TSS/IMS, TSS WEB and LDAP for TSS) and none of these components have had any hardware-related issues. Our products tolerate the new hardware without requiring any special fixes.
