Issue/Introduction

SpectroSERVER fails to start via startSS pl with error message:

Process Daemon disconnected: Can't connect to process daemon.

Error obtaining install ticket for SS

Processd error attempting to start SS install ticket

Process Daemon disconnected: Can't connect to process daemon.

Result: SpectroServer and ArchManager are not started.

Please verify that the DNS resolution is correct or that the etc/hosts has the correct entry.

Spectrum requires the short Hostname and not the Fully Qualified Hostname.

In order to confirm that you are using the correct hostname execute the 'hostname' command from a shell and compare the result with the $SPECROOT/UI-CONFIG.<Server Name> 'host' entry. Both should be similar. This 'hostname' should be used for a proper name resolution.
