Issue/Introduction

After attaching an ITPAM process to a ServiceDesk category successfully, when I try to view the process instance from within the Change Order/Incident/Request workflows tab, it fails with error: 401 HTTP Status 404 - /itpam/ClientAccessError.jsp

Log in to CA Service Desk Manager.

On the Administration tab, select Options Manager, then click the CA IT PAM Workflow node. The Option List appears.

Now right-click the name of each of the following options and select Edit from the short-cut menu and fill them as shown in below example. After configuring an option, click

Install and then Save.

Caextwf_ws_password:

password ( Password for the user specified for option 'caextwf_ws_user)

Caextwf_ws_user:

pamadmin (User account which has admin rights on PAM)

Note:

  1. Replace pam_host, 8080 with the correct hostname of the PAM server and port number.

  2. For field caextwf_endpoint, make sure the string 'soap' is in lowercase else you will get below error There is a problem accessing CA IT PAM Workflow - please try again or contact the administrator. Details: (401)Unauthorized
