Issue/Introduction

Description:

When Service Desk Manager 12.7 is integrated with Process Automation Manager (PAM) 4.X, the following error occurs when attaching PAM workflow to a change category:

"There is a problem accessing CA IT PAM Workflow - please try again or contact administrator. Details:(401)Unauthorized"

Solution:

This error occurs if the Options Manager option named 'caextwf_endpoint' in CA Service Desk Manager is incorrectly defined as below:

http://<PAM Host>:<port>/itpam/SOAP

To resolve this error, define the 'caextwf_endpoint' option value correctly in the appropriate case as below:

http://<PAM Host>:<port>/itpam/soap

Recycle the Service Desk manager services and you should now be able to attach the PAM workflow tl the change category successfully.
