Issue/Introduction

Message "Session Not Established" when selecting Operator Control option in ISPF interface after having installed/upgrade to XCOM r11.6.

Resolution

If you receive message "Session Not Established" when selecting the Operator Control option in our ISPF interface after having installed/upgraded to XCOM r11.6:

• Make sure your XCOM load library is APF authorized
  
  
• Make sure that you have specified the XCOMCNTL library in the Primary Panel within single quotes.
  
  
• At least have XCOMJOB defined to the AUTHPGM and AUTHTSF tables in your parmlib.
  
  
• Make sure that you have PROTOCOL: TCP on the Primary Panel in the Local System Identification section if it defaults to SSL. You may want to apply PTF RO58149 to change the default of the PROTOCOL.
