Import Driver fails with error 'File not found'.

Import Driver fails to bring information from CA SAM to CA APM and the below error is logged in ImportDriver.log file:

FATAL CA.Applications.ImportDriver.Program - File not found System.ServiceModel.FaultException: File not found 


CA APM 14.1.03CA SAM - all versions


One of the causes for this error is a wrong CA_SAM_Device_Export_SQL.xml file in <ITAM root>\Import Driver\Input folder.


The CA_SAM_Device_Export_SQL.xml file that comes with CA APM 14.1.03 patch is incorrect and the readme file contains instructions on how to fix the problem.

Instructions in the readme for 14.1.03 patch guides you through downloading the patch RO92563 and replacing the existing XML file in the Import Driver\Input folder.

Additional Information

Please note that the file CA_SAM_Device_Export_SQL.xml should not be copied to the <user>\in folder in the CA SAM server if you are using CA APM 14.1. In case  you have done that please delete the script from that folder.
