Issue/Introduction
Ideally, back up the entire Hagrid Software\Xtraction application folder on the Xtraction server.
At a minimum, back up the data files, including the following folders:
Xtraction\Data (and all subfolders).
Xtraction\Web\Server\Dynamic (and all subfolders).
Xtraction\Web\Server\web.config (file).
Environment
Release: CA Service Management Xtraction.
Resolution
From the Xtraction Administrator's Guide, the following deals with reloading the license and Data Model files:
Reload Data Model File
Ensure the updated data model file exists in the \Data\Configuration path of the Xtraction software installation. The default path is C:\Program Files\Xtraction Software\Xtraction Note: The current Data Model file must exist under the name of DataModel.DAT for Xtraction to recognize the file for reload
In the Function Links click Administration > Reload
Click Data Model
This reloads the Data Model file DataModel.DAT and acknowledges success of the action
Click OK Note: Reloading the Data Model file does not interrupt the use of Xtraction
Reload License File
Make sure that the current license file exists in the \Data\Configuration path of the Xtraction software installation. The default path is C:\Program Files\Xtraction Software\Xtraction
In the Function Links click Administration > Reload
Click License
This reloads the license file and acknowledges success of the action
