Issue/Introduction

Notification emails are not sent out to a Group mail address for Internal Activities.

Release: SDMU0M99000-14.1-Service Desk Manager-Full License

Cause

ALLOW_INTERNAL_GROUP_NOTIFY is not set to "Yes" in NX.env file.

Resolution

Run the following commands to install or change the variable.

pdm_options_mgr -c -s ALLOW_INTERNAL_GROUP_NOTIFY -v yes -a pdm_option.inst 

 

To avoid losing the change when you run pdm_configure, please run the above command with the '-t' flag as follows: 

pdm_options_mgr -c -s ALLOW_INTERNAL_GROUP_NOTIFY -v yes -a pdm_option.inst -t 

After running the above commands, restart the Service Desk service to take effect the change.
