LDP6034I UNABLE TO COMPLETE DATABASE OPERATION

Issue/Introduction

After installing CA LDAP on a RACF system, I am unable to get CA LDAP connect to MUF.

Getting the following error message below:

 

LDP6034I UNABLE TO COMPLETE DATABASE OPERATION,   xxxxx     CA    yyyy  428 
  428             CA-DATACOM/DB Driver    CCI  CCICONV FAILURE:  Recv/conv 
timed out. 

If I remove CHORUSEXT=CHRCXT10 from Datacom server parm from CUSMAC(CMGRSRVR) library and recycle the MUF server and CA LDAP, it gets successfully connected to Datacom.

Resolution

CHORUSEXT=CHRCXT10 is used to setup passtickets for user authentication.

Passticket setup will also need to be done with CA Top Secret, CA ACF2 and RACF.

If you don't intend to use passtickets, please remove the setting.
