Issue/Introduction

How do we add new terminals that will bypass signing on to IMS (no SAF)?

Resolution

A terminal can signon to IMS automatically (i.e. no SAF userid or password) using Logon Option 'Auto-signon'.
This can be set globally (all terminals) or set selectively (depending on what other options are required) with either
device-specific options, LU name specific options or User-specific options.
