Issue/Introduction

What is the difference between a CERTAUTH and a CERTSITE ACID in Top Secret? Do they need to be defined?

Resolution

CERTAUTH and CERTSITE are special acids that are used to own certificates that are to be shared with more than one user. They are automatically created when formatting the security file so there is no need to define them.

CERTSITE is for personal, client, and site certificates.

CERTAUTH is for root and intermediate signing certificates.
