CA IDEAL for DB2 online verification which runs CAT DVW SYSIBM.SYSVIEWS fails with
IDCMDB2R02 - FLOAT/GRAPHIC/VARG/LONGVARG data types are invalid in Ideal.
Environment
z/OS CA IDEAL for DB2
Cause
FLOAT/GRAPHIC/VARG/LONGVARG data types cannot be used with CA IDEAL.
Resolution
Use dataview SYSIBM.LUNAMES .
Additional Information
The latest CA IDEAL documentation in DocOps.ca.com will be changed to indicate that you need to use another dataview.
