Resolution

Set up notifications by scrum role

Listed below are some suggested notification conditions based on scrum team roles. The notification conditions are described below using the following nomenclature: <Notification Criteria>:<Field, Operator, Value>

If more than one condition is needed to create the notification, the two conditions are separated by a semi-colon.

Product owner

  • New stories: Object ID=Changed
  • Deleted stories: Recycled Changed to true
  • My user story rank changes: Rank=Changed; Owner=me
  • Blocked stories I own: Block=True; Owner= me
  • Stories ready for acceptance: Schedule State=Changed to Completed
  • New High priority defects: Object ID=Changed; Priority=Resolve Immediately; Priority=High Attention

Scrum master

  • Blocked stories: Block=True
  • Blocked tasks: Block=True
  • High priority defects: Priority=Resolve Immediately; Priority=High Attention Stories ready for acceptance: Schedule State=Changed to Completed

Developer

  • My new defects: Object ID=Changed; Owner=me
  • New high priority defects: Object ID=Changed AND Priority=Resolve Immediately AND Priority=High Attention
  • My new tasks: Owner=Changed to me
  • Failing test cases: Owner=Changed to me AND Last Verdict=Fail

QA

  • My new defects: Object ID=Changed; Owner=me
  • New high priority defects: Object ID=Changed AND Priority=Resolve Immediately AND Priority=High Attention
  • My new tasks: Owner=Changed to me
  • Test cases ready to re-run: Owner=Changed to me AND Last Verdict=Fail
