Issue/Introduction

How do I change the authentication method from SQL Server auth to Windows authentication in DX UIM?

If you decide to switch from SQL Server authentication for the data_engine to Windows/Integrated authentication, there are certain changes which need to be made for it to work.

Resolution

On the Primary Hub

1. Change Nimsoft Robot Watcher service's Log on to the Windows/domain user
2. Restart the 'Nimsoft Robot Watcher service'
3. Open data_engine probe and add "Integrated Security=SSPI" to the Parameters, so it will look like the following:
   
        Network Library=dbmssocn;Language=us_english;Integrated Security=SSPI
   
   
4. Restart data_engine probe
5. Verify from the logs and the Status section of the probe that the data_engine is connected to the database and working correctly

On the OC Server

1. Change Nimsoft Robot Watcher service's 'Log on' to the Windows/domain user
2. Restart Nimsoft Robot Watcher service
3. Verify wasp probe is up and running
