Can you dynamically upgrade from rel 12.6 to 14.0?

Issue/Introduction

 

Is there a way to dynamically upgrade from CA 1 12.6 to 14.0?  

Are we able to backout dynamically?

Are there any problems?

Resolution

If you are currently running CA 1 12.6 and have installed CA 1 14.0 you can dynamically upgrade using the instructions found in the Installing Guide for CA 1 14.0.  If you do the dynamic upgrade you can do a dynamic back out of CA 1 14.0.  These instructions are in the Installing Guide following the dynamic upgrade instructions.

  

If you should choose to do an IPL to upgrade to rel 14.0 then to back it out you will have to do an IPL
