Environment

Release:
Component: XCMVS

XCOM for z/OS 12.0

Cause

XCOM needs to allocate a member called XCOMACTN, which is an ISPF Table to hold the results of transfer displays when using the ISPF interface.

Resolution

Provide WRITE/UPDATE in your Security package for the ISPF dataset in question.

Additional Information

The creation of the XCOMACTN member is new starting with XCOM r12.0 and that is where the pressing of “PF3” comes into play to perform commands for specific transfers.
