Issue/Introduction
Received a security violation against our “ISPF dataset” when you we select Operator Control to display your transfers and press PF3 in the XCOM ISPF interface to display transfers.
Environment
Release: Component: XCMVS
XCOM for z/OS 12.0
Cause
XCOM needs to allocate a member called XCOMACTN, which is an ISPF Table to hold the results of transfer displays when using the ISPF interface.
Resolution
Provide WRITE/UPDATE in your Security package for the ISPF dataset in question.
Additional Information
The creation of the XCOMACTN member is new starting with XCOM r12.0 and that is where the pressing of “PF3” comes into play to perform commands for specific transfers.
