Roscoe Error ROS152W: ETSO REXX INITIALIZATION FAILED

Issue/Introduction

 When you start up CA Roscoe, you get the following messages:

  ROS152W: ETSO REXX INITIALIZATION FAILED - RETURN CODE: 020, REASON CODE: 021. 
  ROS068E: ROSCOE/ETSO: INITIALIZATION FAILED. ETSO NOT AVAILABLE. 

 

Resolution

Cause:

The cause is typically not Roscoe. There is likely a problem with REXX itself.

Resolution/Workaround:  

Support recommends that you check your REXX libraries. This is most likely a problem in REXX.

If you copied the Roscoe LOADLIB by copying modules instead of copying the whole library, you may have gotten some modules out of sync.
