Compiled and link edited programs - are the Easytrieve datasets needed to keep executing?

Issue/Introduction

Easytrieve programs have been compiled and link edited, executing the load module version that was compiled.

If all Easytrieve datasets are deleted, will these load modules still be able to execute or does it require some Easytrieve datasets in order to execute?

Easytrieve Report Generator, release 11.6

Resolution

In order to run programs which have been compiled and linked, the CBAALOAD must be available for release 11.6 and the CAILIB must be available for release 11.5.  Easytrieve’s CBAALOAD or CAILIB library must be present in either a //STEPLIB, //JOBLIB, or link listed library.

The CBAAB60 is the Easytrieve Runtime FMID.  Easytrieve’s Runtime FMID must be present at runtime in order to execute Easytrieve load modules which have been compiled and linked.
