We are upgrading from DS8800 drives.

Is any maintenance required for VM:Backup, VM:Tape, or any product in the VM Management suite of products to support new DASD: DS8886 2834-981?

 

Resolution

No. You do not need any maintenance for any of our VM Manager suite of products to handle your new DS8886-981 disk drives.
