Resolution

Protocols like SAML are used to exchange messages between different 

providers like CA SiteMinder. 

For example, CA SiteMinder will receive a request written in SAML, 

it will analyze it and if the aim is to authenticate the user, it will 

build a LDAP request.  LDAP will do a bind to TopSecret 

in order verify the user. 

Neither TSS nor ACF2 will receive or deal with SAML or equivalent protocols directly.

Those protocols are used to exchange message in HTML format among web 

browsers such as WebSphere.
