After applying some new ENF r14.1 PTFS, an attempt was made to stop and re-start ENF with a REINIT (eg. S ENF,,,REINT ) as documented in the implementation instructions. As a result the ENF task now fails to initialize. The following messages are witnessed:

The root cause has been identified as a coding error where the decision is made to dynamically generate CAS9DCM0 for ENF if not specified at startup time in the ENF parameter file.
The contributing factors are:
The workaround is to define the following statement to the ENF parameter file (eg. ENFPARM)
DCM(CAS9DCM0)
The permanent solution is currently being tested/verified and will be published as RO93334 when ready.
If the published PTF is not yet available for download, please contact CA Support or open a new support case with the CA Common Services - MVS team for current information regarding the fix.
