Issue/Introduction

I have created a new path (named xyz) on existing loaded repository using the Administrator Tool.

Below are the steps that I executed:

  1. Click the Repositories tab in the Administrator application.
  2. Select repository.
  3. Select path.
  4. Right-click and select New Item Path. --> The New Item Path dialog appears.
  5. Complete the fields in the dialog and click OK. --> The item path (sql) is created

The new path (xyz) is visible for the selected repository at Repositories tab with Access to Public. But the new path is not visible via Workbench.

Can the new path be visible at Workbench without creating/add a 2nd repository to the baseline?

Environment

Harvest Software Change Manager v12.x and higher

Resolution

Anything added to the repository from the Administrator Tool after the project is baselined will not be visible from Workbench. You can delete the new path from the Administrator Tool, go back to Workbench and execute "Create Path" to add the new folder from there. In the future, use the load repository function before you configure the baseline. If you load the repository after the baseline is configured, the items are not visible in the project.
