2E model is only allowing users to view, but cannot modify

Issue/Introduction

Cannot get the 2E model to allow users to make changes, it only allows users to view the model. Even highest profile users can change the model.

We would need to do some changes to the model--what we can do?

 

Environment

CA 2E 8.7 and higher

Cause

If a model is in view only, need to check the 2E model profiles parameters by selecting Edit Model Profile.

Resolution

Run the command 'YEDTMDLPRF' for the said model profile. The Edit Model Profile panel contains a parameter setting - "View Only". This needs to be set to 'N' in order to allow model edits.
