DB00205E - MULTI-USER ERROR - 1112 after upgrade

Issue/Introduction

I upgraded to a new release of Datacom/AD and now the Multi-User facility (MUF) startup fails with

        DB00205E - MULTI-USER ERROR - 1112.

My understanding is that a second MUF name should be defined?

Is that correct?

 

 

 

Resolution

DBMUFPR startup cards show MUFPLEX PRODPLX1,*,8192,250,S,4M,1,16 so customized to run with a Primary and a Shadow Multi-User .

To resolve:

1. Redo the assemble/link-edit on DBSIDPR after coding 2 MUF logical names in TARGET_MUF_LIST.
2. Start the Primary MUF and the Shadow MUF.
