Issue/Introduction

The SYSVIEW task came up at base level with limited functionality and no licensed features enabled. Messages similar to these are seen in the SYSVIEW joblog after startup:

GSVX532E (MAIN) #RIMSTAT FLOID failed, rc 00000008 
GSVX617E (MAIN) LMP code validation service unavailable, some commands may not be available 

and

GSV2553I (MAIN) Options BASE,NOCICS,NODATACOM,NOMQSERIES,MVS,NOIMS,NOCAPTURE,NOTCPIP,NOCEAP

Resolution

Message GSVX617E indicates the following:

GSVX617E LMP code validation service unavailable, some commands may not be available.

Ensure that the Common Components and Services (CCS) has completed initialization before starting the product. Only MVS related features will be available. Further indication is the GSV2553 message which shows licensed features as not being available. The most likely cause indicated by the messages is that SYSVIEW was started before the CCS CAS9 job was run which defines the LMP keys for the licensed features available in SYSVIEW.
