Schedule single data import to run multiple times per day

Issue/Introduction

The following article discusses how to setup scheduling for a given data import to run multiple times in a single day.

Environment

Release: 14.1 or higher
Component:  CA IT Asset Manager

Resolution

To set up a single data import job to run multiple times per day, follow these instructions:

1.  Navigate to the data import definition screen and schedule the day and time of the first run in the scheduling section at the bottom. 

     Click submit to enter the first scheduled run time. 

2.  Navigate away from the data import definition screen, then return to the data import definition screen. 

     The scheduling section at the bottom is blank, in preparation for entering the second scheduled run time. 

3.  Enter the schedule details for the same day, but a different time.  Click submit for the second scheduled run.
