What are the reasons for the occurrence of a View EBCXST32 message?

• OM View for z
• Output Management View® for z/OS

Resolution

Here is the text of the message:

  EBCXST32  DATABASE INDEX NAME NOT FOUND FOR TRANSACTION - SESSION ENDED                                             

These are possible reasons for receiving a EBCXST32 message:

• The EBCXMCTR table was assembled, but there was no following refresh of LLA.
• The EBCXMCTR table was assembled, there was a refresh of LLA, but the CICS task was not recycled.
• The View CVDELOAD load library is not in the CICS RPL.
• The wrong CVDELOAD load library is being picked up by the CICS task.
• The CVDELOAD load library is not in the //STEPLIB in the CICS task.
• There needs to be a change in the order of the //STEPLIB library concatenation.
