Issue/Introduction

Question:

What is the maximum length of a @CFDE user defined field in the logonid record?

Answer:

The USERLID or USERXLID section of the LIDREC DSECT can be used to include the new @CFDE fields in the

logonid record. Each of these DSECTS have a maximum size of 192(DECIMAL), C0(HEX) BYTES. Any new @CFDE

field must be able to fit within either of the two USERLID or USERXLID DESCTs within the LIDREC. So if the USERLID

or USERXLID portions(s) of the LIDREC is not being used by a site a new @CFDE field up to 192(DECIMAL), C0(HEX)

BYTES can be defined in the USERXLID.
