Release: 12.1 and above
Component: MIM-Resource Sharing-for z/OS
Beginning at MIM release 12.0, the product was enhanced so that systems within a sysplex would be able to communicate with XCF for better performance. Systems
beyond sysplex boundaries but within the MIMplex would continue to use DASD or CTCs as achieved previously. Note that even with the XCF code enabled, MIM will not attempt to migrate to XCF unless you issue a MIM MIGRATE MASTER command.
CA MIM for z/OS uses the CCS module LXCFMAIN when using the XCF communication option. The LXCFMAIN module acts as an interface to the IBM XCF services. The LXCFMAIN module is delivered on the CCS product tape.
If you do want to utilize zIIP enablement, ensure the module resides in LINKLIST or as part of the CA MIM STEPLIB concatenation. The MIM0426E message can be ignored if you do not desire to utilize the underlying XCF communication enhancement
