Issue/Introduction

 When using CA Data Content Discovery, I see the following Java error: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError, How do I address these errors?

Resolution

The heap memory allocation might be insufficient, or the heap memory values might not be configured correctly.

Follow these steps:

1. Record the -Xms and -Xmx heap memory values. These values are specified in the file that is pointed to by the STDENV DD statement in the runtime_hlq.CFEYOPTN member.
