How to remove CCID requirement in Endevor

Issue/Introduction

Currently we are using CCIDs to control access to Endevor systems.  we are planning on switching to ESI but need to know how to remove the use of CCIDs.

How do I remove the use of CCIDs to control access to Endevor?  

Environment

All supported releases 

Resolution

There are two things that have to be changed:

1.  In the C1DEFLTS table change the CIPODSN= (ccid validation dataset name)

TO - 

 

2.  Modify the SYSTEM Definition Panel:  

on Panel C1SE2200 / System Definition ensure that CCID is set to N. 

This MUST be done for all Environments and Systems that are using CCIDs.
