Identity Suite Virtual Appliance: Can I use a root user instead of "config"?

Issue/Introduction

Can I install the virtual Appliance tool to login with a root username and password? 
 

 

Resolution

To ensure the environment is within the boundaries of the supported configuration and no other software is installed etc. The access to root account is not available.

Instead config account was authorized to accept elevated permissions to perform common tasks, such as start/stop service, update the CA software and others. A complete list of the aliases can be found here:
