Issue/Introduction

Issue:

Multi-write mode for EEM is not working.   The EEM policies are not syncing between the EEM servers.

In the $DXHOME/logs/* files messages such as the following might appear:

Sep 23 08:03:19 host1 itechpoz: DSA_E2735 Multiwrite-DISP: Unable to synchronize with peer 'itechpoz-host2'

and

Verify error 7: certificate signature failure

SSL Error

5:error:oDoc5006:asn1 encoding routines:ASN1_item_verify:EVP lib:a_verify.c:186

Environment:

Embedded Entitlements Manager 12.51.x

Resolution:

To resolve this go thru the procedures in the EEM implementation guide to reconfigure your EEM servers back into single EEM modes on both hosts.  Then re-established the EEM HA (multi-write mode).

Follow the sections:

Remove Secondary CA EEM Servers from Primary CA EEM Server and Reset Primary CA EEM Server

Reset the Secondary CA EEM Servers

 Failover Configuration
