Issue/Introduction

How to check the password on CA Identity Manager components to validate we have the correct password prior to performing an upgrade?
This would include CA Provisioning Server, CA Provisioning Directory, and CA Connector Server.

Environment

Release: Identity Manager

Resolution

To test the Connector Server Password:

Try to login using this URL:
http://<hostname>:20080/main
or
https://<hostname>:20443/main

Another method to test the Connector Server password:

Use Connector Xpress.  On the Windows server were connector express is installed, then Start Menu > CA > Connector Xpress:

Add the connector onto Connector Xpress.

After it is successfully added, click the connector. Then to access the connector, the connector will prompt for the password.

To test the Provisioning Server, Provisioning Directory Secret Passwords:

Use these ports:

20394 - Provisioning Directory DSA (IMPD-Main)
20396 - Provisioning Directory DSA (IMPD-Co)
20398 - Provisioning Directory DSA (IMPD-Inc)
20404 - Provisioning Directory DSA (IMPD-Notify)
