Issue/Introduction

The format-1 DSCB Update Utility is executing in an implicit mode. Why DSCB Update Utility jobs are displaying the 3190 messages?

Resolution

MSG 3190 should prompt users when running jobs against data implicitly, not explicitly. Message 3190 is prompted to protect users from accidentally updating date.
For example:

Implicit: DSCB NOSIM,EXPDT=0000000,DSN=/
