Issue/Introduction

In this document is shown how to get a list of machines that require an Agent and also how to export this list to the local server.

Environment

Client Automation - All Versions

Resolution

1. Run the Infrastructure Deployment Wizard:

 

  1.   Deploy software to target computers:

     

  1.   Select the LATEST version of the full agent package:

      

  1.   Choose an appropriate scan option.  This example demonstrates a scan of a particular IPv4 address range.  For this type of scan to work properly, TCP Echo over port 7 must be allowed in the environment.

     

  1.      Start the scan.

        

 

  1.    Export the scan results:

      

  1.   Save a CSV file:

     

 

  1.    Open the CSV file:        

      

Additional Information

Here is the list of the different status a machine may have:

          Deployed: The agent matches the installation package you selected, the computer is up-to-date.

          Machine Responding: Computer without an agent, verify the platform and deploy the appropriate agent. 

          No Response: No computer is detected, no action to take.

          Package Older: An older agent version was detected, if working upgrade using Software Delivery, otherwise upgrade using the Deployment Wizard.
